“Air pollution and health impact: New Perspectives and Solutions within a cross-border framework”
Στην εκδήλωση παρουσιάστηκαν οι κύριοι στόχοι του έργου, οι επιπτώσεις της ατμοσφαιρικής ρύπανσης στην υγεία, η ανάγκη να συντονιστούν οι υποδομές ώστε ο πολίτης να έχει άμεση πρόσβαση στα δεδομένα ποιότητας της ατμόσφαιρας σε συγκεκριμένο τόπο και χρόνο, καθώς και οι τρόποι για να μειώσουμε την ατμοσφαιρική ρύπανση ανάλογα με τις πηγές. Πολλά άλλα σχετικά έργα είχαν την ευκαρία να δημοσιοποιήσουν τα αποτελέσματα τους και να βρουν δρόμους για πρακτική συνεργασία & αξιοποίηση των δεδομένων τους.
Με την υποστήριξη του Συνδέσμου Εξαγωγέων ΣΕΒΕ και του Διαβαλκανικού Κέντρου Περιβάλλοντος καθώς και με τη συμμετοχή εταιρείων σχετικών με την μέτρηση της ατμοσφαιρική ρύπανσης καθώς και την αντιμετώπιση της (π.χ. Εναλλακτικές Χρήσεις του Λιγνίτη αντι για καύση, τεχνικές δέσμευσης του Co2), παρουσιάστηκαν καλές πρακτικές που θα μπορούσαν να τροφοδοτήσουν στρατηγικές για την απάλειψη της ανθρωπογενούς ατμοσφαιρικής ρύπανσης, εντος κι εκτός συνόρων, με προοπτική win-win για τις επιχειρήσεις και την ανθρώπινη υγεία.
During the event, the main objectives of the project were presented. The impact of air pollution on health, the need of the coordination of infrastructure in order citizens to have direct access to air quality data (at specific location and time) and good practises and strategies for the mitigation of the atmospheric pollution. Many other relevant projects had the opportunity to publicize their results and to find ways for cooperation and exploitation of their data. The experts workshop was supported by the Greek Exporters Association (SEVE), the Inter-Balkan Environmental Center and by the participation of companies related to air pollution projects. Good practises were presented that could feed into strategies for eliminating anthropogenic air pollution, with a win-win perspective for business and human health.
